We are Virgil and Janice Corbin. We first fell in love with Goldens when we acquired a Golden Retriever foster puppy from Kansas Specialty Dog Service. (It is a Service organization that trains dogs for the handicapped). Janice trained him in the 40 commands we were asked to train him in. He was so much fun, so smart, and so friendly. Every place we took him people fell in love with him. He flunked his physical, he had a mild case of spinal bifida (they have to be able to work 8 years and they didn’t think he could) so we adopted him. What he had never bothered him, but we enjoyed him for 12 years. That was our first experience with Golden Retrievers.
Our puppies are well socialized with both children and adults. They are introduced to all kinds of sounds, peoples and situations. They are temperament tested at 7 weeks old, so you will be able to select the kind of temperament you want in a puppy, ie; laid back, very curious, super friendly, etc. We have had excellent comments from our customers. (See our Puppy Owners page.) This year we will be starting the Bio Sensor program.
The Bio Sensor Program was developed by the U.S. Military. It neurologically stimulates the newborn in order to give the dog a superior advantage. It improves the cardio vascular system, and the adrenal system, provides more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease.
We live South of Kansas City on 19 acres. If you live near the Kansas City area you are welcome to come visit our dogs or pick out your own puppy. If you need your puppy shipped we include the crate, health certificate, vaccinations, dog food sample, pedigree, AKC papers and training information in the price of shipping. Shipping runs $375-$400.

We care deeply about goldens, and desire that they should live long healthy lives. We have had reports of too many goldens getting cancer and dying before their time, as ours did. Also we don't believe your dog should be having ear infections, hotspots and other food allergy problems.
